Announcing the WIMPgives 2014 Non-profits

It came down to the wire - we recruited the last volunteer needed to have seven complete build teams Saturday just before noon. Now we can confidently announce that WIMPgives 2014 will be larger than in 2013!

Last year we built five websites for five non-profits with a total of 25 volunteers. This year we’re taking on seven non-profits with the help of over 50 volunteers! We invite the public to join us from 12pm to 6pm at the SoCo Nexus coworking facility in Rohnert Park, CA. You can find more information on the official WIMPgives website.

Volunteers and non-profits: Be on the look out for an email with additional details!

One final note: Thank you to Merith Weisman and the Sonoma State University Center for Community Engagement for helping with outreach. Many people helped, but Merith ended up recruiting most of the non-profits!
