Automating Redundancies with Grunt.js

Let’s face it, in our line of work, we are faced with doing some pretty redundant work. Our time is valuable, and reducing monotonous work is critical to producing the best quality work we can.

Enter Grunt.js. Grunt.js is a JavaScript task runner built to handle these redundant process we are forced to suffer through every day. The less work you have to do when performing repetitive tasks like minification, compilation, image optimization, unit testing, linting, etc, the easier your job becomes.

We’ll learn about the basics of Grunt.js is and what it can do to ease our development process and how to use it. This is a great talk for any developer looking to take their knowledge/tool set to the next level!

About WIMP Core Meetups

WIMP Core Meetups are always the Last Monday of the month.

Since 2011 WIMP’s meetups have always been on the last Wednesday of every month. Come January 2015, we will be changing to the last Monday of the month. Since WIMPspace is located in downtown Santa Rosa, we are adjusting our schedule so it is not impacted by Wednesday Night Market in the summer months.
